Inappropriate
Edited by: Anthony Melton | Directed by Jonathan Blagrove
As editor on Inappropriate, directed by Jonathan Blagrove, I was responsible for shaping the film’s emotional flow and narrative structure. From refining performances to building tension through pacing, the edit played a pivotal role in delivering the film’s impact.
By balancing rhythm, tone, and character-driven storytelling, I worked to ensure each moment felt intentional and resonant — crafting a cohesive, compelling final cut.

Death Scenes
Edited by: Anthony Melton, Directed by Joel Morgam
Death Scenes, produced by Bloody Cuts, allowed me to explore tension-led editorial storytelling within the horror genre. The process centered on sculpting performance, controlling tonal shifts, and carefully modulating pace to sustain dread while maintaining narrative coherence.
Following its success as a standalone short, the film was selected for inclusion in the anthology feature Patient Seven, positioning the work within a broader cinematic framework and contributing to a theatrically released horror feature.
Patient Seven is available to stream on Amazon Prime:

The British Red Cross - Family Reunion
Edited by: Anthony Melton on commission for Guardian Labs UK
Reunited.
When conflict and persecution tear families apart, the impact lasts far beyond the moment of separation.
For Abier, fleeing Sudan meant making an impossible choice — leaving her children behind in order to find safety in the UK. What followed was months of uncertainty, distance, and hope held together by love.
Through our Family Reunion team, that hope became reality.
This is Abier’s story — and the moment she was finally reunited with her children.
With your support, we can be there for families facing the unimaginable. We can be there for people like Abier. And we can be here for humanity.
